Sylvia Earle has spent her life as an amazing ocean advocate. (I'm not the only who thinks highly of her. She is called "Her Deepness" by the New Yorker and the New York Times, "Living Legend" by the Library of Congress, and first "Hero for the Planet" by Time Magazine.) Mission Blue represents her current work of creating Hope Spots.
E.O. Wilson attracted my attention with his Half-Earth project and emphasis on the importance of biodiversity. He passed away in 2021, but the E.O. Wilson Biodiversity Foundation continues his important work.
